Terrorists break into house, open fire on workers, killing two, injuring one

Jammu: Despite the tightening of security forces, the practice of selectively killing workers from other states in Kashmir does not seem to be stopping. On Sunday evening, militants broke into a house in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district and opened fire on tenants. Two workers were killed and one was injured in the attack. The injured have been admitted to Anantnag Medical Hospital. Her condition is reported to be out of danger.

Late on Sunday evening, militants stormed a house in Ganjipora Vanpoh in Kulgam district and opened fire on Bihar workers sitting in a group. Before anyone could understand, there was an uproar. The scene was covered in blood. One person was killed on the spot in the firing. Two others were seriously injured. The two were rushed to a hospital, but another died on the way.

The deceased have been identified as Raja Reshidev and Joginder Reshidev, while select Reshidev’s son Teju Das is critically injured. He has been admitted to GAC Anantnag. Her condition is serious but out of danger. Security forces rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the shooting of the laborer and took control of the entire area. Security forces have launched a search operation in the area. This is the second killing of workers from other states in the last 24 hours. So far there have been four workers.
