Crime News: Chandigarh Police shares link of pornographic video on Facebook, case registered, search for accused continues



Chandigarh: Someone shared a link to a pornographic video in the comments box of the Chandigarh Traffic Police’s Facebook site. After this, the operator of the social media cell, Prakul, lodged a complaint with the concerned Sector-17 police station. The cyber cell team has registered a case against the unidentified accused.

Complainant Constable Prakul said that on September 29, a person shared a link to a pornographic video in the comment box of the Chandigarh Traffic Police’s Facebook page. The link did not open after a picture of the pornographic video appeared. He then informed the senior officers. There, after the matter came to the notice of the police officials, orders were issued to take action against the accused. Police have registered a case against the accused and are searching for him. However, the accused have not been arrested yet.
